Death
is a taboo subject in our society. Everyone experiences the loss of a
close relative or person at some stage of one’s life.
In
schools, the subject is rarely dealt with in the classroom.
The teacher
may sometimes feel uncertain about this delicate subject and avoids
dealing with it, even if the children should have an opportunity to work
through their sorrow.

In work organisations, sorrow through the event of death may equally be
avoided or ignored and, thus, remain untackled.
In
the short film, three different stories of individuals who have
passed
away are told.
In these stories, a grandparent, a young student and a
family member have died. These separate everyday stories become entwined
through the presence of angels. The DVD package can be used for organising a moment of silence and for
dealing with different aspects of death.
The topics in the 24-page booklet included in the DVD package consist of various
subject areas such as drama, literature, arts and music.
The
aim of the DVD package is to support and give solice to the person who is
in the process of mourning.
